Phosphorescent Pigment is the New Black!

I'm a sucker for pretty much anything that glows in the dark, last year I made up a little batch of phosphorescent watercolour and made a study that would, eventually, form the basis for 3 works that will feature in my upcoming exhibition Bond.

Study. 2014. Watercolour, phosphorescent pigment, cotton on paper. 40 x 55cm
(Daylight)

Study. 2013. Watercolour, phosphorescent pigment, cotton on paper. 40 x 55cm
(Darkness)

Below are the resolved works (sincere apologies for the poor quality image)

Chemical Constellations (Oxytocin), (Serotonin), (Dopamine). 2015. Watercolour, phosphorescent acrylic, cotton embroidery. 15 x 21cm.

Yep, these little puppies glow in the dark!

Come and see for them yourself at Stockroom Kyneton from August 8th- September 27th.
